Castle of the Dukes of Brittany in Nantes

The Château des ducs de Bretagne is located in the heart of Nantes. It has several faces: on the town side, it is a fortress made of granite blocks with a parapet walk, towers and curtains, while on the courtyard side, the castle is transformed into a refined residence in the gothic style made of tufa stone. The castle houses the Museum of Urban History, which tells the history of the city.
